Job Overview

We are delighted to present an outstanding opportunity for a French Speaking Order To Cash Specialist position in Greece, based on-site in the vibrant city of Athens. This role sits within a dynamic and fast-paced Retail (Online & Offline) environment, where you will be a key player in managing the full order-to-cash cycle - from customer order processing and invoicing through to collections and account reconciliation - all while serving French-speaking retail clients and partners. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end Order to Cash process for French-speaking retail accounts, including both online and offline sales channels, ensuring accuracy and timely execution at every stage.
• Process and validate customer purchase orders received through e-commerce platforms, retail point-of-sale systems, and wholesale channels, ensuring all data is correctly captured in the ERP system.
• Generate, issue, and distribute accurate sales invoices to French-speaking retail customers and business partners in accordance with agreed billing schedules and contractual terms.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable ledgers for designated French-speaking retail accounts, proactively following up on outstanding balances and overdue payments via phone and email communication in French and English.
• Perform regular account reconciliations to identify discrepancies between payments received and invoices raised, resolving issues promptly in coordination with retail operations and finance teams.
• Handle customer disputes and queries related to billing, returns, refunds, and credit notes within the retail context, delivering professional and efficient resolution in French.
• Collaborate closely with the logistics, warehouse, and retail operations teams to ensure order fulfilment data is accurately reflected in financial records, particularly for omnichannel retail transactions.
• Prepare and contribute to regular reporting on cash collection performance, ageing reports, and KPIs, providing insights to management to support continuous improvement of the Order to Cash function.

Requirements

• Native or fluent French language proficiency (spoken and written) is essential; strong English communication skills are also required for internal collaboration.
• Valid EU passport or the right to work within the European Union (mandatory).
• Previous experience in an Order to Cash, Accounts Receivable, or Finance Operations role, ideally gained within the Retail (Online & Offline) industry or a related fast-moving commercial sector.
• Solid understanding of core OTC processes including order management, invoicing, cash application, collections, and reconciliation within a retail or e-commerce environment.
• Proficiency in working with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and a confident approach to working with retail management and billing platforms.
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a high-volume retail operations environment.
