Key Responsibilities

• Review, assess, and moderate user-generated content submitted across social media platforms in French, ensuring strict adherence to community guidelines and platform policies.
• Identify and action harmful, abusive, misleading, or policy-violating content including hate speech, graphic material, misinformation, and spam in a timely and accurate manner.
• Escalate complex or sensitive cases to senior moderation teams or specialist departments in accordance with established workflows and protocols.
• Monitor social media trends, emerging threats, and evolving content patterns to proactively protect the integrity of the platform and its user community.
• Provide clear, consistent, and well-documented decisions on content cases, maintaining detailed records in internal moderation tools and ticketing systems.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Trust & Safety, Quality Assurance, and Training departments to maintain and continuously improve moderation standards.
• Participate in regular calibration sessions, team briefings, and ongoing training programmes to stay aligned with the latest social media platform policies and best practices.
• Contribute constructive feedback and insights regarding recurring content issues, helping to refine and enhance moderation guidelines and automation processes.

Requirements

• Native or fluent French language proficiency (both spoken and written) is essential for this role - all content moderation tasks will be conducted in French.
• Valid EU passport or eligible work authorisation permitting employment in Greece (mandatory).
• Strong familiarity with social media platforms, digital content formats, and online community dynamics.
• Excellent attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to make confident, well-reasoned decisions under pressure in a fast-moving social media environment.
• Good working knowledge of English for internal communications, training materials, and team collaboration.
• Prior experience in content moderation, trust and safety, customer support, or a related field within the social media or digital industry is advantageous but not strictly required - full training is provided.
• A resilient, professional, and empathetic mindset, with the ability to handle exposure to sensitive or distressing content in a responsible and structured manner.
