We are seeking a highly experienced
Test Manager to coordinate and drive the testing function for a major insurance client in Switzerland. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of business-critical insurance solutions with a strong focus on claims management, orchestration, document management and CRM systems (notably Microsoft Dynamics). The ideal candidate will possess deep insurance domain expertise, proven leadership in multi-team environments and hands-on experience with test automation and the Guidewire framework.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multiple test teams (onsite and nearshore) to deliver high-quality testing services within the insurance domain
- Take ownership of testing responsibilities from the existing team, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and onboarding for all test team members
- Organize and execute structured knowledge transfer programs to maintain operational continuity and preserve critical know-how
- Define, implement and monitor the overall test strategy, ensuring alignment with client business flows and operational priorities
- Oversee all test activities, including SIT, E2E, NFT, Automation and Test Data Management, ensuring comprehensive coverage and quality
- Drive test automation initiatives by introducing best practices and modern frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage
- Apply deep insurance domain expertise, particularly in claims management, orchestration, document management and CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) with hands-on experience in Guidewire Claim Center and related modules
- Act as a key point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, expectation management and alignment with business objectives
- Ensure all testing activities comply with FINMA guidelines, GDPR, Swiss data residency and client-specific security controls
- Leverage and champion AI-driven solutions and practices to enhance knowledge management, accelerate test design, automate documentation and improve overall testing efficiency
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in test management, quality engineering or QA leadership roles, preferably in the insurance domain
- Proven track record coordinating multi-team testing organizations
- Deep understanding of insurance business flows with hands-on experience in claims management, orchestration, document management and CRM (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Experience with Guidewire Claim Center and related Guidewire modules (highly preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise in coordinating test automation initiatives
- Ability to identify and apply AI solutions to optimize test processes, documentation and team knowledge sharing
- Experience with transition projects, knowledge transfer and onboarding in regulated environments
- Familiarity with FINMA, GDPR, Swiss data protection and insurance industry compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- French language proficiency is essential
