French Speaking Travelling Nanny

Our client, an UHNW US/UK family based in Regents Park, London, is seeking a native French-speaking Live-in Nanny to support the care of their children within a well-established household team. The role focuses exclusively on childcare and works in partnership with another full-time Nanny and the supporting household staff.

The Nanny will primarily be responsible for the care of the younger children, ensuring consistent routines, age-appropriate engagement, and a safe, nurturing environment. This position requires flexibility, discretion, and a collaborative approach within a busy family home.

The household employs a full-time Nanny team, with both Nannies working weekends and taking two consecutive days off mid-week on a rotating basis. Support is also provided by Housekeeping staff, and school and nursery transitions in London are managed with the family's Driver.

The family is primarily based in London for most of the year and travels during school holidays, including an extended winter period spent in Switzerland.

This role involves supporting the children across multiple locations, including London and Switzerland. During the winter period, the children are home-schooled, and the Nanny will assist with daily structure, routine, and learning support alongside the family's wider team.

Hours:- Full-time, 24/5

Location:- Central London, plus Switzerland (Dec-March) and with international travel during school holidays

Salary:- £60k - £75k dependent upon experience

Start Date:- ASAP

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing attentive, age-appropriate care to the children, with primary responsibility for the younger three
• Managing daily routines, including nursery and school transitions
• Supporting children's development through structured play, learning, and consistency
• Working collaboratively with another full-time Nanny and household staff
• Travelling with the family during school holidays and extended winter stays abroad
• Supporting children during periods of home-schooling under the guidance of the family
• Maintaining a safe, calm, and well-organised environment for the children at all times

This is a childcare-focused role. No domestic or housekeeping duties are required.

Accommodation

Live-in accommodation is provided within the family home, including a private bedroom and bathroom.

Candidates must be / have:

• Native French speaker (European French)
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Previous experience as a private or live-in Nanny within a similar household environment
• Comfortable working weekends and within a rota structure
• Flexible and confident travelling internationally with a family
• Professional, discreet, and well-presented
• Driving License (mainly driving in Europe, not London)
