St. George's International School in Switzerland, part of the Inspired Education Group, is a leading day and boarding school located on the shores of Lake Geneva in Montreux. What is the key purpose of the position? As a French Teacher, the role is to deliver high-quality language instruction across the secondary school, inspiring students to achieve fluency, cultural awareness, and a lifelong love of languages while contributing to the school's tradition of academic excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Demonstrate an international mindset and collaborate effectively in a multilingual and multicultural environment.
• Exhibit expertise and experience teaching IB French B and IGCSE French Language, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in teaching French A and Language and Literature French courses.

• Support students as a tutor and form part of the pastoral fabric of the school.
• Offer a club as part of the extra-curricular programme.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
• Proven experience teaching IB French B and IGCSE French Language, with additional experience in French A and Language and Literature French courses preferred.
• Ability to set clear expectations and ambitious goals, adapting teaching styles based on feedback to ensure optimal student outcomes.
• In-depth understanding of English language curricula and a track record of delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
• Strong assessment skills to evaluate student progress and provide actionable feedback to enhance performance.
• Excellent preparation and planning skills, with confidence in integrating ICT into teaching.
• Genuine care and attention to student welfare, ensuring a positive and supportive learning environment.
• A minimum of a university degree and certified teaching status, with appropriate right-to-work documentation.
• Previous experience teaching Senior and Middle School students (aged 10-18 years) and confidence in managing diverse classroom dynamics.
