French teacher- Brilliant independent school in Enfield- April start

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced French teacher to join a brilliant independent school in Enfield. This is a full-time position with an anticipated start date in April. As a French teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the field of French language and culture.   • Plan and deliver engaging French lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to ensure effective learning experiences
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support as needed
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and supports student well-being
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective instructional strategies
  • Participate in department meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments

  • Bachelor's degree in French or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching French to primary or secondary school students
  • Excellent command of the French language, both written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the French curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Ability to effectively differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Organized, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
  • Familiarity with current educational technology and learning tools
  • Valid work authorization to work in the United Kingdom
