French teacher- Exceptional independent school in Brent- ASAP start

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging French lessons to both primary and secondary students, taking into account their individual learning needs and abilities.
  • Plan and prepare lesson materials, including worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and learning.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their language development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the educational standards of the school.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in French or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience teaching French to primary and/or secondary students.
  • Strong knowledge of the French language, culture, and literature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and resources to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Familiarity with the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
