French Teacher - Fullor Part Time (Between 0.5-1.0 FTE) - Permanent

The BlandfordSchool is seeking to appoint a highly motivated languages teacher to join ourthriving and supportive school. The successful applicant will have theopportunity to teach French at all Key Stages and the ability to teach someSpanish at Key Stage 3 will be an advantage but not essential. The MFLdepartment at The Blandford School is highly successful attracting students atboth GCSE and A Level. The department is well established and led withcolleagues demonstrating a strong team approach in their work. Moving forwardthere is the potential for a leadership position for French being establishedto work alongside the Head of Faculty.

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• A relevant degree
• This post is suitable for both experienced candidates and those new to the profession

Keeping Children Safe in Education

Our school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
