Day-to-Day Responsibilities - Handling in due time of payment requests and settlement flows between Customers and Worldline
- Execution in due time of the settlement between Worldline and the Card Schemes - Reconciling of clearing & settlement flows with external evidence (Bank statements, settlement reports from the Card Schemes and Issuer Banks etc.)
- Handling of open items and balances of general ledger accounts impacted by the various transactional entries resulting from the processing
- Scheme invoice management (Splitting of fees to Affiliates)
- Preparation of fees statements to Customers (Interchange Fees, Scheme Fees etc.)"
- You are responsible for executing the clearings of intermediation accounts related to Issuing Settlement Service in SAP or collect and/or review evidence to support outstanding balances
- You perform monthly/quarterly/annual closure activities in accordance with agreed group/local/customer rules
- You clarify and track unreconciled general ledger differences or entries in the intermediation accounts
- You collaborate with other departments as required (Business Process Owners, Project teams for testing etc.) and are able to provide advice and guidance to less experienced colleagues and to undertake elements of supervision.
- You build strong relationships with the team and local business teams from the allocated country

- Educational background in Economics, Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of professional experience in Finance (General Ledger, Investment funds or Banking)
- Relevant experience in a competence center environment would be a plus
- Capacity to work under pressure and to respect deadlines
- You have analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of working in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.), any other system is a plus
- You speak French at an advance level
- Your English is at a very good level
- You are able to absorb new relevant information rapidly and to apply it as required
- You have a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving. You are able to plan and control your own work, selecting and utilizing effectively appropriate methods, procedures, tools, equipment and standards, to meet all targets set.
- You will be able to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills in both formal and informal settings.
- You have the ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Ability to work independently & collaboratively, open-minded and have a proactive attitude
