Intern - French Monitoring team

About the role

If you're passionate about policy and politics, you'll fit right in to our enthusiastic and vibrant team.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and evolving part of Dods Group. The Political Intelligence division provides timely information and insight to clients seeking to shape policy making in the UK and EU.

Working as part of the French team, you will be responsible for following French politics and developing content for clients based on a clear understanding of their business objectives.

You'll be part of a team of fellow consultants, each of whom are experts in their respective policy areas, and will be providing finger-on-the-pulse analysis to your clients.

This role is based at our Brussels office. Colleagues spend some of their working week in the office and some days working from home (usually 2-3 days in the office per week).

What's it like to work with us?

At Dods we believe in the 3C's: Collaboration culture, Continuous improvement, and Customer focused. We live these values by giving everyone the chance to develop their skills through learning and development and training, as well as plenty of opportunities to network, socialise and connect across teams. Our inclusive culture means there are always room for new ideas. We encourage creativity and continuous improvement, keeping the customer needs at the forefront.

In London and Brussels, the office working environment is collaborative, bright and airy with everyone together in one space. There's always a bit of a buzz and conversation going on, and people really like to chat and help each other. The office is small enough that everyone knows everyone's name, so colleagues work across teams on shared projects and catch up over informal meetings in the kitchen or over a game of pool in the office.

We've provided political intelligence for 190 years, and whilst we're looking into how to leverage artificial intelligence, we know that it's still our people and how we support our customers personally that makes us different. Work can be fast-paced - there's an expectation that a customer can get straight through to their Consultant or Account Manager to ask a question and get a quick answer. This means that if a colleague is out-of-office, we cover for each other. It's a very engaging environment to work in, and whilst it can be busy, you know that there are always great colleagues around to support you.
