Job DescriptionThe IT OPS Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring production stability throughout the project lifecycle for activities. Key responsibilities include addressing production requirements, defining and implementing technical solutions, and ensuring compliance with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Responsibilities:Participation in a Cloud migration project which will require you to:
- Analyze and migrate to the group's CI/CD platform
- Adapt CI/CD platforms for cloud migration
- Define migration standards for the company's cloud solutions
Technical Solutions Development:
- Promote existing services to reduce costs and timelines, integrating APS requirements into the project backlog
- Implement reusable solutions when needed
- Ensure compliance with architectural standards, cybersecurity, and conformity
Implementation of Technical Solutions:
- Collaborating with APS stakeholders
- Establish logging, monitoring, and alerting systems with SRE
- Provide production and infrastructure resources to support deployments
- Conduct technical tests (performance and recovery) before production rollout
- Document and monitor activities in the project backlog
- Manage changes and problem-solving within the application scope
Continuous Improvement:
- Suggest process enhancements
- Advocate for and share best practices
- Analytical ability to best resolve Production incidents, both Legacy and Cloud
Qualifications- IBM cloud ecosystem certification (e.g., Bronze)
- Knowledge of Java development and frameworks
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Shell, Python, and YAML
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline creation and containerized application deployment (Kubernetes, Helm)
- Proficiency in Docker image creation
- Experience with WebSphere and Tomcat servers
- Proficiency with tools such as GitLab, Artifactory, GitLab CI, SonarQube, Xray, Sonatype,
- Proficiency in writing Ansible playbooks
- Proficiency in the Linux environment expertise (RedHat)
- Fluent in French
- Good command of technical English for mission-related interactions
