ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

The Junior Bid Associate will support the commercial and bid teams in preparing, managing, and delivering high-quality bid submissions and ensuring commercial governance across contracts. This role is designed to give the graduate exposure to all aspects of the bid lifecycle, commercial practices, client engagement, and business strategy. The focus will be on learning about technologies methods and acquiring skills and proficiency whilst providing some additional capacity to the existing team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Support the preparation, coordination, and submission of bids and proposals in response to client tenders or requests
• Engage with different stakeholders to ensure challenges are addressed, solutions are put together and commercial models are run in line with customer requirements and internal guidelines

• Assist in gathering and organizing bid documentation, including commercial models, technical content, and compliance materials.

• Participate in bid strategy development, risk analysis, and pricing discussions.

• Ensure all commercial and contractual documents are reviewed and in line with company policies.

• Liaise with internal departments (finance, legal, operations) to gather necessary inputs for proposals.

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE:

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, etc.), Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Fluent in English, French and Arabic.

• Recent graduate (within the last 1-2 years) in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

• Internship or industrial placement experience in a commercial, procurement, project management, or business development role is advantageous.

• Exposure to tendering processes, commercial analysis, or customer-facing roles is desirable.

• Understanding of basic commercial principles (pricing, cost structures, profit margins, etc.)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• An interest in business strategy, sales processes, and customer engagement.

NICE-TO-HAVE:

• A postgraduate qualification or relevant certification (e.g., in Project Management, Procurement, or Commercial Management) is an advantage but not essential.
• Familiarity with project management and contract lifecycle processes.
