Legal & Tax assistant

You will support the tax team with: * Preparing and maintaining client tax files * Collecting documentation for Swiss tax returns * Supporting tax return preparation * Monitoring deadlines and file compliance * Preparing tax forms and supporting documents * Liaising with clients and Swiss tax authorities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, organising and maintaining client tax files
• Collecting, reviewing and filing documentation required for Swiss individual tax returns
• Supporting the preparation of tax returns and related administrative documentation
• Monitoring deadlines and ensuring client files are complete and compliant
• Preparing tax forms, certificates and supporting documentation
• Liaising with clients and Swiss tax authorities
• Maintaining accurate client records and document management systems
• Providing day-to-day administrative and compliance support to tax specialists
• Ensuring the confidentiality and quality of all information handled

Your profile:

• 3-8 years of relevant experience within a tax firm, fiduciary, law firm or similar professional environment
• Hands-on experience with Swiss individual tax returns / tax declarations
• Good understanding of Swiss tax procedures and documentation requirements
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Fluent French and English, both written and spoken
• Good command of Microsoft Office
• Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive client information

This is not an accounting role or a senior tax advisory position. We are looking for someone with practical experience supporting tax return preparation, documentation and compliance processes.
