Main Job Purpose:

Logistics Senior Specialist is responsible for daily managing transports from factories and warehouses within Europe to secure on time deliveries.

Logistics Senior Specialist efficiently coordinates transport execution between factories and corresponding affiliates. There are included tasks related to portfolio management, outbound deliveries creation, transport booking, invoicing and return orders. Logistics Senior Specialist is also first point of contact for carriers, factories, customs broker and Centralized Operation Team. The aim is to perform all tasks on expected high service level with focus on continuous improvement agenda. Data analytics, reporting, performance monitoring and KPIs delivery is integrated part of role.

Responsibilities

• portfolio management and outbound delivery creation

• transport booking coordination

• dock booking management and storage issue resolution

• customs broker communication & follow up

• invoicing process

• daily close collaboration with stakeholders

• transport costs and claims management

• logistics quality issues resolution

• spot buy exception management

• inventories review

• warehouse cost management

• continuous improvement program

• support with KPI delivery and proper monitoring

• participating in regular meetings

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• University degree (minimum Bachelor) / logistics / planning can be an advantage

• Fluency in spoken and written French- both oral and written skills. Ability to communicate efficiently with all levels of management and peers

• Fluency in spoken and written English - both oral and written skills. Ability to communicate efficiently with all levels of management and peers

• Process development, improvement and implementation experience

• Self-motivated and independent personality with strong negotiation & problem-solving skills

• Good understanding of supply chain and supply planning business drivers, organization structures, and key metrics

• Well-developed interpersonal / communication skills - ability to cooperate with internal and external parties

• Working knowledge of any of the ERP systems like SAP etc.

• Ability to work under time pressure and quickly set priorities

• Experience in supply planning or logistics

• Customer Service related experience

• Good interpersonal skills: communication, influencing

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Previous experience in SAP welcome

• Another European language will be an asset

• Experience in areas such as production scheduling, inventory management, or supply/operations planning

• Advanced MS Excel

• Strong analytical skills required

• Creativity, passion and engagement

• Team-working oriented

• Energetic and pressure resistance

• Customer service mindset
