ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAMAs
Marketing Associate - MEA, you will support the execution of SITA's communications and storytelling strategy across the Middle East & Africa region, translating strategic narratives into high-quality, credible, and impactful communications outputs.
You will be accountable for shaping and delivering compelling B2B stories that strengthen SITA's reputation, visibility, and thought leadership across media, customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Reporting to the
Head of Marketing - MEA, you will be part of the
MEA Marketing team, responsible for driving brand consistency, external visibility, and commercial storytelling aligned with SITA's global strategy and regional business priorities.
This role combines content excellence, media and agency coordination, and operational marketing support, making it critical to the day-to-day effectiveness of the regional marketing function.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:- Translate SITA's global and regional strategy into compelling storytelling across press releases, op-eds, customer success stories, executive messaging, and internal communications.
- Research, write, and edit high-quality B2B content in English, French, and Arabic.
- Support media relations activities, including drafting press materials, coordinating interviews, and managing content calendars.
- Act as a key point of contact for SITA's external PR agencies, supporting briefings, content development, review cycles, and performance tracking.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of customer success stories and case studies in collaboration with the Regional Marketing Managers, Sales, and Account teams.
- Support and own internal communication initiatives to ensure alignment, clarity, and consistency of messaging across the region.
- Provide operational and administrative support, including processing purchase orders and vendor coordination.
- Support Regional Marketing Managers with events, campaigns, and tactical marketing activities, including logistics, content, and follow-up.
- Ensure all communications adhere to the SITA brand, tone of voice, and messaging guidelines.
- Monitor media coverage, compile reports, and support the generation of insights for continuous improvement.
WHO YOU ARE:- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Media, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experiences within the same field
- Strong background in journalism or editorial writing, with demonstrated ability to craft clear, credible, and engaging narratives.
- Professional fluency in English, French and Arabic.
- Experience working with and managing PR or communications agencies.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized, structured, and reliable, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a regional, matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders.
- Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Ability to work effectively in a regional MEA context, and with eventual travel.
NICE-TO-HAVE: - Experience in B2B communications, preferably in technology, aviation, infrastructure, or complex industries.
- Experience managing events, trade shows, or executive engagements.
- Familiarity with aviation, transport, or mission-critical technology sectors.
- Experience building content for a C-level audience.
- Experience working in an international or multicultural corporate environment.
