THE MISSIONPaola Pacchiana, our Head of Merchant Operations, is looking for a Merchant Success Specialist to join their team and help with the growth of Scalapay in the next 12 months.
This role is based in Milan, where we'll expect to see you often, however we are open to you working remotely regularly. We like to think that we're pretty good at offering a job that fits nicely into a fulfilled life for everyone.
You will:- Be responsible of the documents collection from our merchants for the due diligence (60% of the time)
- Follow up with the merchants for the contracts to be signed (30% of the time)
- Backoffice time (10% of the time)
Expected key results:- Accelerate the time to online process in a proper way
- Improve the onboarding experience
- Decrease the issues merchants can have during the onboarding process
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORMust have- University Degree is required but not in a specific field
- 2/3 years experience as Account Manager or Onboarding Specialist
- Native or near-native French (C1-C2 level) is mandatory
Nice to have- You've previously worked in a startup/scaleup environment
Soft skills- Data-driven and very organized, you like things to run like a machine
- You have excellent communication skills (verbal and written): you are able to break down complex topics into simple solutions and ideas
- You're a self-starter, autonomous & proactive: we're looking for someone who will go and get things done, not wait for instructions
HIRING PROCESS- A quick chat with one of our Talent Acquisition team members
- A first set of interviews with the Hiring Manager to deep dive into your experiences and better understand your motivation
- A case study to test your hard skills, that will be debriefed with a panel of future internal stakeholders followed by a "Meet the team" session to assess the Scalapay Values and cultural fit with the team (this steps will be done face-to-face, at the Milan office)
