The RoleThe Move Manager provides the highest standard of service to our Private and Competitive Corporate moving customers in managing the relocation of their household goods, ensuring a positive perception of the company and its services, and securing good feedback. You will liaise with both internal and external parties to coordinate household goods moves and ensure clients personal belongings reach their destination on time and to the highest standard. The Move Manager will also be responsible for coordinating Mobility Services between our customers or assignees & our Consultants.
What you will do:You will be responsible for managing relocations, mainly for the France, Germany & Switzerland region. Supporting and liaising with customers directly on their specific needs and requirements. Excellent feedback from Customers and other Crown offices will be a key measurable in this role to determine success.
The main responsibilities of a Move Manager are:
• Interact with customers, service partners and agents to communicate and supply relevant information regarding the move
• Maximise and upsell of all sales / Transit Protection opportunities available to the customer
• Liaise internally with other parts of the Crown organisation to ensure a successful move
• Understand and support the resolution of any relocation issues arising for the customer
• Build rapport to better understand the clients requirements
• Updating relevant systems to ensure all information is recorded accurately and in a timely manner
• Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed relating to the move including invoicing and job costing
• Adhere to the companies 'reply within 24 hours' policy on all communications
Skill and ExperienceEssential:
• Native level of both English and French.
• Experience in Customer Service or Sales background
• Able to communicate effectively with clients and at all levels of the organisation
• The ideal candidate for the Move Manager position should have strong numerical skills and enjoy working with numbers, as they will be responsible for calculating job costs, margin, credits, and debits for each file.
• Strong Administrative and organisational skills
• Enjoy to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good interpersonal skills - able to build and maintain relationships at all levels
• An awareness of cultural sensitivity
• Good commercial awareness and critical thinker
• MS Office skills; Outlook, Word and Excel
Desirable:• Experience as a Relocations consultant or Move Manager / Coordinator
And/or• Experience within the household goods, relocations or logistics industry
