Are you passionate about technical-commercial proposal preparation, customer requirements, and delivering high-quality Building Automation solutions? Join us and support the Smart Infrastructure Building Automation team in France by helping translate customer requirements into technically feasible, commercially consistent, and clearly defined offers.

As part of our team, you will act as a key interface between Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, suppliers, and other stakeholders throughout the quotation process. You will support the preparation, coordination, and delivery of high-quality technical and commercial proposals that contribute to the successful conversion of opportunities into executable projects.

Your mission will be...

• Analyse customer requirements, specifications, and tender documentation to understand the expected scope, deliverables, constraints, and technical or commercial implications;
• Identify technical and commercial requirements, scope gaps, exclusions, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and clarification points;
• Translate customer needs into a clearly defined proposal scope aligned with Building Automation solutions and customer expectations;
• Support the definition of appropriate technical solutions in collaboration with Engineering, Sales, and relevant subject-matter experts;
• Prepare and coordinate technical and commercial proposal documentation, including technical descriptions, scope documents, calculations, and supporting materials;
• Develop and consolidate cost estimates, pricing inputs, quantities, and other information required for quotation preparation;
• Ensure consistency between the proposed solution, scope, costs, assumptions, customer requirements, and commercial conditions;
• Coordinate inputs from Sales, Engineering, Project Teams, Procurement, suppliers, and other stakeholders, following up on open actions, technical questions, pricing inputs, and dependencies to ensure on-time proposal delivery;
• Support scope clarification, highlight risks or inconsistencies that could impact project execution, profitability, or customer expectations, and contribute to continuous improvement of quotation processes, templates, tools, and best practices.

We are looking for someone with...

• Experience in technical-commercial proposal preparation, quotation management, or sales support, ideally within Building Automation, HVAC, Electrical, BMS, or related technical environments;
• An engineering background or strong technical foundation, enabling you to interpret complex requirements and translate them into clear, feasible customer proposals;
• Fluency in French is mandatory, and a good command of English is preferred;
• Ability to understand and analyse technical specifications, tender documentation, and customer requirements;
• Good understanding of costing, pricing, and commercial proposal processes;
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams;
• Ability to identify scope gaps, assumptions, dependencies, exclusions, interfaces, and technical or commercial risks;
• Structured, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously;
• Customer-oriented mindset combined with commercial awareness, proactive communication, ownership, and the ability to challenge, clarify, and drive actions to completion.
