Do you have experience of onboarding new employees within either a HR or Recruitment function? Do you have French language skills? Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? If so, we have the perfect position for you!

The Opportunity

As part of an extensive Knowledge Transfer Project, we are looking to significantly increase the number of colleagues joining our UK Teams from France. As a result, we are looking for an Onboarding Coordinator with experience in international recruitment and who understands the complexities that arise from such assignments.

Pay, benefits and culture

Your rewards package includes a choice of benefits, such as electric vehicle leasing, enhanced parental leave, health insurance, discounts, and employee pricing.

The Co-ordination Team travel to our Gloucester office for some meetings as required, as well as attending bi-annual meetings with the wider Resourcing Team.

At EDF, everyone's welcome. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse environment where everyone has a voice and where you feel confident being yourself. We're committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion. We'd like our future workforce to have an equal gender balance, represent a broad mix of people from minority ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+, those with a disability and supporting social mobility.

We're a disability confident employer and we'll do all we can to help with your application, making adjustments as you need.

We'll value the difference you bring and offer opportunities for you to thrive and succeed.

What you'll be doing

You'll ensure precise and swift administration and co-ordination support to the resourcing process across all business units in EDF UK. This includes tasks such as contract generation; managing pre-employment screening; facilitating and administering the vetting process; and consistent use of recruitment and HR systems at expert level.

You'll provide a seamless and positive candidate experience, acting as a central point of contact for candidates during the recruitment and onboarding processes. You'll also be a credible, approachable, and highly knowledgeable point of contact for Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders alike.

You'll ensure the resourcing process is run in compliance with all appropriate legislation and regulation, and accurately update and maintain recruitment administration/co-ordination data.

You'll plan and prioritise your own time to deliver both 'Business As Usual' resourcing and project-based activities, and you'll contribute to approaches and initiatives to enhance talent attraction opportunity and resourcing performance.

Who you are

Being an Onboarding Co-ordinator at EDF means demonstrating excellent organisational and planning skills, being able to manage your own time effectively, prioritising tasks when required, and having the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. You'll be highly skilled in understanding and empathising, and you'll possess a collegiate and positive attitude.

You'll have experience of dealing with complex administrative processes, and experience in administering full end-to-end recruitment processes and technology (including applicant tracking systems) would be advantageous.

You'll be able to work at pace whilst maintaining an extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You'll have excellent oral and written communication skills, including the proven ability to engage and establish credibility with internal and external stakeholders alike.

You'll have excellent IT capabilities spanning Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel) and the capacity to pick up bespoke IT systems and tools.

As this role will be working closely with French stakeholders and candidates, French language skills are essential.

If this sounds like you then we'd love to hear from you!
