Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Teaching ESL and Drama to middle school students (6e to 3e/Y7 to Y10) with varied English levels (beginners to native speakers)
- Design and implement learning or teaching situations in line with French curricula and standards.
- Design and implement methods for assessing student achievement, in conjunction with other teachers and in accordance with French standards such as the European Framework for Languages.
- Be proficient in classroom management and stimulate student interest and participation.
- Practise differentiated, ambitious and innovative teaching methods.
- Have a solid understanding of the learning challenges associated with different student profiles, including but not limited to students with special needs.
- Provide personalised support to students in conjunction with their families and participate in their career guidance plans.
- Contribute to the school's operations and teamwork.
- Use information and communication technologies to support learning.
- Ensure smooth and ongoing communication with students' parents.
Requirements- Teaching experience in secondary schools
- Proficiency in French: conversational (B1+/B2)
- Basic knowledge of French curricula and standards.
- Willingness to invest in a rapidly developing school and in collective projects.
- Ability to work in a team or in pairs.
