Part-time Instructor (French Programme)

The French Programme of the Department of Linguistics and Modern Languages invites applications for a part-time instructor position for the academic year of 2026-27. Appointments will be made on a contract basis commencing September 2026. The instructor will teach French course(s) at the beginner's level. Applicants should have (i) a Master's degree or above in French as a Foreign Language (FLE) or a Master's degree or above in any other field complemented by a recognized professional qualification in FLE pedagogy; (ii) preferably at least 2 years of experience in teaching French courses with a proven record of satisfactory course evaluation results; (iii) the ability to use English as a medium of instruction; (iv) preferably experience in teaching Asian learners at the university level; (v) experience of conducting teaching and learning activities through online platforms.
