About the role: As a Specialist (Senior), People Data and Payroll Administration you will be a member of People Services & Solutions Team for Small & Medium Countries, supporting employees in European countries (i.e.France, Benelux, Switzerland etc) within HR Services community that provides an HR administration, pre-payroll and payroll services
You will be reporting to Team Leader, People Data and Payroll Administration
What you'll do: - Support the team in a variety of activities connected to employee lifecycle processes.
- Engage in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and projects and assist with their implementation, including the transition of HR and Payroll processes.
- Process pre-payroll activities as required per country, gaining knowledge and supporting payroll activities.
- Create employment contracts and other HR documents.
- Maintain employee data in administrative systems (Workday) and other HR/payroll systems.
- Ensure high-quality employee data and its maintenance across all systems.
- Respond to HR-related queries and clarify HR policies and procedures as needed.
- Use ServiceNow as a ticketing tool to manage incoming queries.
- Direct queries to the appropriate subject matter expert or team while maintaining ownership of the cases.
- Deliver HR information and transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer service at all times and build positive relationships with stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements: - University/Business School degree or equivalent.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A high degree of customer service orientation to address employee queries and issues promptly.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to improve local payroll processes.
- Ability to work with confidential information.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Word & MS Excel).
- Previous experience in an HR/payroll role or other administrative department is nice to have.
- Previous experience in cooperation with stakeholders on various HR processes will be a strong asset.
- Experience in working on HR/payroll systems (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow) will be an asset.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements specific to France, including knowledge of French wage tax, social security, and pension regulations will be a huge asset.
- Experience in coordinating payroll processes with external service providers will be an advantage.
