Job Role

The procurement professional negotiations for IT & NON IT categories, including but not limited to IT (Hardware, Software), Business Services, Insurance Goods and Professional Services to secure advantageous terms and conditions. He / she develops and coordinates commercial negotiations with suppliers that are supportive and aligned with business objectives while striving to build long term and reliable partnerships.

What you do

• Run Supplier evaluations (RFIs) & Request for Proposals (RFPs);
• Documentation of selection rational;
• Process (outsourcing) contracts ensuring optimal turn-around-times;
• Achieve optimal results in terms of Quality - Service - Technology - Price;
• Defining pricing targets based on market analysis and benchmarks in alignment with the business unit;
• Strive for optimization of specifications and drive standardization;
• Preparation of market research overviews and consultation of the business units regarding market trends, supplier landscape incl. selecting and implementing concepts to identify alternative supply channels or standardization options;
• Pro-actively address quality, performance and cost issues (Relationship Management & Supplier Management);
• Alignment with the business stakeholders regarding demand requirements and analysis of bundling potential;
• General consulting of business units and Allianz entities relating to strategic and questions to achieve the best sourcing strategies and gain best value for money;
• Strategic spend analysis of the national and international procurement market as well as benchmarking considering "best practice" and "total cost of ownership" approaches;
• Understand and advocate use of procurement tools and processes as well as ensure compliance to internal policies, all legal requirements and the buying process.

What you bring

• Higher education degree in a technical or business field or comparable discipline;
• Several years (3-5 years) of work experience in a relevant area, involving project management, strategic procurement and others;
• Sound negotiations skills combined with contractual knowledge are a matter of course for you.

You have

• Be highly adaptable to a dynamic environment with self-starter attitude;
• Ability to prioritize and work independently on multiple activities at the same time;
• Good communication and customer orientation, as well as supplier-relationship-management skills;
• English business fluent & French intermediate to business fluent;
• You are proficient in the common MS-Office programs as well as different procurement tools.
