Position Summary

We welcome an experienced Product Manager with English and French proficiency, for one of our complex and biggest product teams operating in diverse countries, to take the responsibility of creating and owning the product strategy and roadmap, as well as managing the team to achieve the goals.

Key Responsibilities

Domain-Specific Learning

• Proactively learn and understand the specific domain, including industry standards, regulations, and customer expectations, to make informed product decisions
• Proactively learn and understand the capabilities and functionalities of the product

Product Vision and Strategy

• Work closely with the Product Director to coordinate on product vision, goals, and strategic direction, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
• Define and drive the product vision to align with business and client satisfaction goals
• Create, maintain, and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines

Market Research and Requirement Gathering

• Conduct competitive analysis, understand customer needs, and identify market opportunities to drive product development
• Conduct customer discovery through interviews and in-depth research to identify client needs and pain points
• Gather, document, and refine product requirements from stakeholders, turning them into actionable user stories and specifications

Product Delivery Oversight

• Manage the end-to-end delivery process, ensuring that product features and updates are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality, coordinating closely with engineering and other teams
• Drive a continuous delivery approach, working to release improvements and new features regularly, monitoring outcomes, and gathering feedback for iterative enhancements. Ensure that development aligns with agile methodologies to promote quick, effective updates

Stakeholder Communication

• Regularly update stakeholders on the product's progress, performance, and plans
• Demonstrate strong leadership within cross-functional product teams, guiding diverse profiles toward successful product delivery
• Engage in active listening, negotiation, and persuasive communication with business stakeholders, technical teams, and management, translating product ideas effectively between technical and non-technical terms

• in-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles, backlog management techniques (story slicing, story mapping), and metrics (burndown metrics, velocity, lead time, cycle time)
• experience working as an Agile Product Manager in a technology company writing user stories and epics, and following the development process through user story acceptance
• fluency in English, and French
• experience working in an Agile environment
