Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and qualified French Teacher to join our CBSE school in Vidyaranyapura, Bengaluru. The candidate will be responsible for teaching French as a second/third language to students (Grades VI-X / VI-XII as applicable), following the CBSE curriculum guidelines. The ideal candidate should foster an engaging learning environment and help students develop proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking French.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver French lessons in alignment with CBSE curriculum guidelines.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and teaching materials.
• Develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in French.
• Conduct periodic assessments, unit tests, and support board exam preparation (if applicable).
• Maintain records of student progress and provide feedback to parents during PTMs.
• Organize language activities, French Day celebrations, and cultural events.
• Integrate audio-visual tools and modern teaching methodologies.
• Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school events.
• Maintain discipline and ensure a positive classroom environment.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in French (B.A./M.A. in French) OR
• Diploma/Advanced Diploma in French (DELF B1/B2 or equivalent preferred).
• B.Ed. (Mandatory as per CBSE norms).
• 2-5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
• Strong command of spoken and written French.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with CBSE assessment patterns and guidelines.
