**Post Summary: **Fondation Alzheimer (FA) and the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) partner under the umbrella of the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health Program. One of the major challenges in advancing the fight against Alzheimer's disease and other related disorders is to generate new and bold ideas that have a global impact. With this in mind, Fondation Alzheimer and the Global Brain Health Institute launched the French Alzheimer's Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health Program to empower medical researchers engaged in Alzheimer's research and fully committed to changing the world.

The Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health is a prestigious, interdisciplinary, 12-month residential fellowship based at Trinity College Dublin. The programme develops emerging leaders committed to improving brain health equity and reducing the global impact of dementia, with particular emphasis on underserved and marginalised communities.

Fellows engage in an immersive academic and experiential curriculum combining structured learning, mentorship, pilot project development, and engagement with clinical and community settings. Upon completing the programme, fellows join a lifelong global network of Atlantic Fellows working to advance brain health worldwide. Successful candidates can also apply for a Postgraduate Certificate in Equity in Brain Health, awarded upon successful completion of the academic components of the fellowship.

Hours of Work: 39 hours per week (full-time)

Specific Purpose Contract

Location: Trinity College Dublin, College Green, Dublin 2, Ireland

Salary: Appointment will be made on the IUA Post-Doctoral Researcher Scale, PD2 Point 3 (€58,578), in line with Government Pay Policy.

This Research Assistant position is funded through la Fondation Alzheimer. In accordance with the Foundation's eligibility requirements, applicants must hold French citizenship.
