DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for RFR Customer & Operations Specialist in Morocco. In this role, you will Implement Road freight Strategy in the country as defined by ensuring ontime delivery of road freight services. Individuals responsibility is to ensure procuring best rates from carriers , commerically work on customer RFQ's and manage Operations for clients.

In this RFR Customer & Operations Specialist position

• You will own and maintain country road freight tariffs with carriers, ensuring rates remain valid and updated in accordance with agreed validity periods.
• You will review existing pricing rates and policies with carriers and network partners, initiate updates based on market trends and business requirements, and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.
• You will drive the development of optimal pricing solutions to maximize road freight profitability.
• You will ensure local and cross-border rates are accurately entered into the rate management system and validated for auto-costing, quotations, and auto-rating purposes.
• You will manage supplier contracts, establish regular carrier review meetings, and ensure effective engagement with all key carriers.
• You will analyze accepted and rejected quotations by lane and negotiate with network partners and carriers to secure more competitive rates.
• You will determine profit margins and provide pricing support while coordinating closely with Sales, Sales Support, and Customer Service teams.
• You will source and provide spot rates for all types of road freight cargo to support Sales and Customer Service teams.
• You will negotiate and procure the most competitive rates available in the market.
• You will support the execution of global procurement strategies and decisions related to rates, processes, and supplier management.
• You will monitor carrier and station performance and initiate corrective actions where necessary to improve service quality and efficiency.
• You will execute operational shipments assigned to you, managing the process from customer booking through carrier booking, billing, and system updates, while maintaining ownership of file profitability, revenue, and costs.
• You will ensure the timely billing of executed shipments and maintain accurate system updates to provide customers with complete shipment visibility.
• You will ensure carriers are utilized in accordance with defined policies while maximizing profitability for the company.
• You will provide customers with full shipment visibility and ensure all movements comply with applicable customs regulations and compliance requirements.
• You will maintain strong working relationships with DGF EU and Freight EU teams to support rate procurement and operational activities effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

• Deep knowledge of Road freight forwarding business from domestic and cross border prospective
• Excellent analytical, structuring skills along with Strong project management skills and ability to cope with multiple bids in parallel.
• Results driven and attention to details
• Minimum 3 years of experience in road freight pricing, commercials and operations
• Understanding of end to end process from freight and customs prospective for domestic and international road movements
• Understanding of end to end process from freight and customs prospective for international road movements
• Team Player

• Improvide department profitability by improving procurement of rates from carriers

• 3 years in road freight pricing, commercials and operations
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
• Fluent English
• Fluent French
• Fluent Arabic
