As the Risk Officer you will support the Entity Risk Officer of AZ Technology France, who is reporting to the Country Leader and the Head of Finance, with the implementation and coordination of the concerning risks and controls management procedures following the globally unified approach at AZ Technology.

In your job you will be responsible for the assessment and management of IT and other Operational Risks, assuring the observance of safeguards measures and contribute towards developing their maturity.As part of a truly global team you will have to work with different Allianz Technology teams, learn how to use best practice and support with your strength and knowledge. You will be given the opportunity to work on different projects and processes in an international environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actively supports with the implementation of the Risk Policy Framework (Risk Policy, Risk Strategy, NFRM framework) and oversees and monitors compliance with them.
• Contributes to the improvement of Allianz Technology's risk culture, by actively communicating and running awareness sessions.
• Prepares the local Risk Committee quarterly.
• Ensures all material and urgent risk relevant issues are reported to necessary stakeholders.
• Coordinates the implementation and regular performance of all elements of the Non-Financial Risk Management cycles and performs quality assurance on their outcomes;
• Ensures clear allocation of Risk and Control ownerships to local 1st LoD
• Coordinates risk assessments supporting the business in control implementation, documentation and performance, development of mitigation plans and its follow up
• Support the overall process of Top & Emerging Risk Assessment (TRA), reviews the outcome and the reporting to the local Risk Committee on a quarterly basis, or ad hoc if needed.
• Supports the business owners in preparing project risk assessments incl. their follow up on mitigation actions.
• Coordinates risk related activities with other expert functions, in particular Compliance, Data Privacy, Information Security, Protection & Resilience.

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Multi-year professional experience, in different areas of IT risk management or other safeguarding functions
• Good understanding of the risk categories: operational risk, IT risk, project risk, third party risk, business risk
• Good knowledge of local service landscape and supplier relationships
• Basic knowledge of local regulatory environment and standards like: COBIT 2019, COSO, ISO27xxx, ISAE/SOC
• Possess or in process of getting external risk management certifications like CRISC, COBIT Foundations
• Strong communication and conflict management skills
• Advanced skills in MS Office
• Ability to work well in ORGS, ServiceNow
• Fluent in English and French (oral and written)
• Ability to work in international team in global set-up
