Your role:We are curious finance professionals who collaborate with key finance personnel to ensure accounting compliance and accuracy of assigned legal entities in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa). Our main tasks are carried out in close cooperation with CFO, centralized accounting departments and the various Group Functions (e.g. Controlling, Tax, Treasury etc.). We are responsible for the financial statements of the legal entities and ensure financial compliance with local legislation and Group Guidelines. We act as the owners and keep our Business Partners informed about the financial development of the entities and take responsibility for certain periodical activities. In addition, we are responsible for the coordination of financial and tax audits and support other projects in various roles as assigned.
In your role you will be responsible for one or several legal entities, depending on their size and complexity. You may also take part or lead projects aimed at gaining efficiencies within ABP's processes or quality improvements of the financials reported by our Team.
Who you are:- Experience in audit, controlling, statutory accounting or general ledger
- Business English and French required
- Experience in analyzing accounting policies and standards
- Team player as well as a facilitator in problem solving
- Experience in multinational or hybrid organizations would be an advantage
- Self-driven with focus on self-development
