Senior Accounting Specialist - French Speaker

About the job

• As member of the Record to Report and Accounting Risk team, the main activities will be some of the following: performing Risk analysis regarding the balance sheet items in suspense and open items in the reconciliation tools as Concorde Ambre and Onyx, and perform analysis on the open items pending in the Vendors and Clients accounts

Your Main Activities Are

• Report the Risk assessment internally in P&P and as well to Group Finance
• Prepare and animate the Pre-Closing meetings with the all Entities in our scope of activities and as well with the main Business Lines of BNPP SA
• Analyze and propose action to reconcile balance-sheet accounts
• Understand and implement Group procedures
• Monitor and report the evolution of all accounting suspense in the scope of Cost Accounting Operations

Profile and Skills to Success

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Management or other related field
• At least 4 years of Experience as Accounting Officer or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Pack and ERP system application (SAP/Oracle)
• Fluent in English and French
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with flexible schedules and with international locations
• Organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong team spirit
• Communication skills (spoken & written), proactive attitude and problem solving skills
