Description Overview

Perrigo offers a great opportunity to join our growing Business Services Centre in Mokotów, which has been steadily expanding since its launch in mid-2024. We are currently looking for a Senior GL Accountant with French to join our team - an experienced finance professional who brings solid Shared Service Centre expertise and is eager to contribute beyond transactional activities, helping us strengthen and further develop our GL function.

We currently work in a hybrid model: 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.

Scope of the Role

You will be responsible for the execution of Senior General Ledger accounting activities assigned to Perrigo Business Services International. Applying the guidelines of the accounting manual, ensuring correct cost center and profit center accounting and correct use of GL accounts, booking of journals, account reconciliations, intercompany account reconciliation, financial close reporting in CFIN, month-end close process completion, US GAAP postings, statutory filings

• Execute General Ledger accounting activities for a few legal entities within Perrigo Services International, for BENEFR Cluster
• Adhere to the guidelines outlined in the accounting manual, ensuring accurate cost center and profit center accounting, and the correct utilization of GL accounts
• Perform tasks such as journal entry booking, account reconciliations, intercompany account reconciliation, and contribute to financial close reporting in SAP
• Contribute to the completion of the month-end close process, including posting entries in accordance with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Prepare statutory filings including Financial Statements, taxes and statistical reporting
• Cooperation with HR on payroll related accounting process
• Supervise and coordinate daily and month end processes for French entities
• Proactive attitude in process standardization
• Implementation of continues improvement ideas to optimize daily tasks execution
• Take active part in annual audit cycles (internal and external)

Experience Required

• Master's Degree in Finance, Controlling or Accounting
• Additional Accounting Certification would be a plus
• Solid knowledge of Finance in general and General Ledger in particular
• At least 5 years experience in similar role within Business Shared Service Centre structures
• Prior participation in process transitions and transformations is more than welcome
• SAP Finance experience
• Fluent in English and Polish, French B2 level (communicative)
• Good command of Excel, VBA nice to have
