One of the backbone profiles in the maintenance and operation of the simulator is the operation engineer.

Its role in front of the internal customer, the instructors of the Training School, the external customer, plant operators, and the responsibilities in front of auditors and inspectors offer a professional environment with the highest standards of quality and safety.

In addition, as an interface between users and the simulation equipment, it allows you to access knowledge of simulation technology and simulator architecture as a complement to knowledge of plant operation.

We are looking for an engineer with experience operating nuclear power plants with 5 years of demonstrable experience to join a dynamic and expanding work team.

We are looking for a person who, after a short period of training, can carry out operational tests in a replica or glasstop simulators, as well as making a diagnosis of the situation and a correct specification of potential work orders. We are looking for people who have sufficient technical capacity for decision-making, with the ability to work in a team and with operations and project management skills. We are looking for people with leadership, focused on providing a high-quality service efficiently.

We offer to work in a team of operation engineers located in Madrid, to tackle various projects in the simulation area related with the maintenance and modernization of nuclear simulators in France, with the possibility of shift work and travels.

The main tasks of the position are:
• Specification of the modifications to be introduced in the simulator, derived from the operating discrepancies reported by the customer.
• Design and execution of the acceptance tests of the changes made in the simulator, both at the individual level and in the verification of the global response
• Execution of the periodic testing program, required by the regulations, for the maintenance of the certification of the simulator for training of operating personnel
• Support to the training school in the testing and validation of the training scenarios that are developed in the courses in the simulator
• Participation in audits and inspections of the simulator, in accordance with the processes and tools defined in the simulator configuration control system
• Participation in engineering analyses associated with modifications in the design of the plant
• Validation of changes in the plant's operating procedures
• Simulator training for end users

Requirements to apply for the position:
• Minimum demonstrable training and experience in operation and PWR technology. Depending on the candidate, the plan for certification in the position will be defined
• Background in nuclear operation
• English level B2.
• Level of French C1.
• Experience in training, work in simulation, engineering support or support for the operation of CCNN will be valued.
• The position will involve occasional and short-term trips to the different locations, always planned.
• Driver license.
