Supply Chain Excellence - French Speaker

Date de publication 25.08.2026

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging - but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

Role Overview
The Supply Chain Excellence is a Director-level dual-mandate role.

The role holder brings a Director profile - combining deep executive relationship management, commercial acumen, and adoption acceleration expertise - to deliver against two equally weighted objectives: Account success and network adoption growth across the France and Iberia customer portfolio.

Mandate 1 - Account Management

The role holder is responsible for the daily management of selected SAP Business Network Trading Partners within the region. The primary mission is to secure trading partner retention, deliver positive impacts to transactional revenue, drive commercial renewals, and generate upsell by building C-level relationships with regional trading partners' line-of-business executives. The role establishes proactive success plans that promote overall trading partner satisfaction and product adoption within the France and Iberia portfolio.
Core responsibilities include:
• Providing tailored guidance to Trading Partners on how best to adopt and monetize their Network investment, aligning their strategy with business objectives.
• Developing and executing success plans with agreed success metrics, promoting leading practices around cadence, objectives, and strategic partnership.
• Maintaining a holistic view of the Trading Partners' functional projects and priorities to best leverage SAP's value-add offerings.
• Driving active engagement in SAP-led initiatives: satisfaction surveys, business transformation stories, Trading Partner reference programs, and SAP events.
• Owning, creating, and facilitating industry forums providing best practices, trends, and peer benchmarking.
• Working cross-functionally with SAP leadership to deliver Trading Partner success.
• Establishing strong and lasting C-level relationships with Trading Partners across Logistics, Direct Materials, and Assets domains.
• Developing compelling communication strategies and materials that articulate the value proposition of SAP Business Network products.
• Providing Trading Partners with regular executive business updates and QBRs focused on strategy and vision.

Mandate 2 - Buy-side Network Strategy
Aligned with the Network Strategy Director, the role holder owns and executes network growth plans for high-potential, high-growth Network node customers within France and Iberia, across the Supply Chain solution area. The role holder brings programme leadership and executive sponsorship to near-term adoption delivery, risk management, and continuous improvement of the network value proposition within the region.
• Participate in sales cycles and customer-facing events to ensure customers understand the full Business Network value proposition, helping to build pipeline.
• Using data-driven insights, identify expansion opportunities and risks within the existing SAP footprint; introduce new platform innovations to drive adoption and stickiness.
• Maintain programme reporting on progress against spend, revenue, and network growth targets across the regional portfolio.
• Prioritise high-impact opportunities in France and Iberia using data-driven, prescriptive management and leading practice advice to accelerate time-to-value.
• Drive spend adoption and increase SAP Business Network yields; develop and gain customer buy-in on network roadmaps to maximise adoption and perceived subscription value.

Across both mandates, the role is expected to:
Network Adoption & Revenue Performance
• Serve as thought leader for building industry network connections between buyer and trading partner communities; develop long-term plans to maintain Network growth over a three-year horizon.
• Build and maintain deep relationships with key decision makers in Accounts Payable, Treasury, IT and Procurement; participate in high-value quarterly CRR/QBR meetings with regional VPs.
• Develop and maintain regional programme reporting on spend, documents, relationships, and revenue against targets; report progress towards regional Network goals.
• Participate in sales cycles ensuring prospects understand the full Business Network value, solution set, and how these apply to the customer's business case.
• Act as ongoing mentor to AADs; backup the International Head, SAP Business Network Strategy where required.
• Collaborate with regional VP, PMS leadership and International Head to prioritise high-value customers, drive spend adoption, and align on regional and market unit Network growth goals.
• Customer business and opportunity diagnostics to analyse business case drivers, identify programme risks, and establish near-term action plans; develop and gain customer buy-in on network roadmaps to improve product adoption and maximise perceived subscription value.
• Development and management of forecasting, account penetration plans, and customer engagement plans delivering business outcomes in close collaboration with PMS.
• Regional customer portfolio management with full accountability for exceeding revenue growth targets; directing market unit strategy in collaboration with Adoption Acceleration Directors (AADs) within France and Iberia.

Core responsibilities include:
Performance Standards
The role is revenue generating and will be assigned to a Revenue Generating Bonus plan with France and Iberia targets, reflecting the mandate structure. Performance will be measured against France and Iberia targets set jointly by both team frameworks.

Requirements

Seniority
• Director profile, with demonstrated ability to operate independently across a dual-mandate role.
• Proven track record of influencing at C-suite and VP level, both with customers and internally within a matrixed organization.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programmes with accountability for both revenue and adoption outcomes.

Experience:
• Customer Success, Account Management, Professional Services and/or Project Management experience within a cloud environment: minimum 10 years.
• Driving customer change management and cloud transformation: minimum 7 years.
• Proven experience positioning upsell and cross-sell opportunities into revenue growth outcomes.
• Experience and knowledge in Logistics, Assets, Procurement, and/or Supply Chain landscape: minimum 8 years.
• Demonstrated programme and project management leadership competencies.
• General knowledge of collaborative procurement, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Working Capital.
• Proven experience with business process transformation and re-engineering.
• Strong analytical skillset with the ability to manage and prioritize a complex customer portfolio. Self-motivated with an enquiring mind.
• SAP Cloud and/or SAP Business Network experience: strong advantage.

• Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time for customer engagement and SAP Business Network events.
• Education: Business, eCommerce, Technical and/or Management, Bachelor level or above.

Scope and Limits of Authority

The role holder is expected to operate with a high degree of strategic autonomy within France and Iberia, escalating to both team leads as appropriate.

Location

The post holder must be based in Spain, France or Portugal and must possess the right to work in their country of residence. Deep familiarity with the region's business culture, languages, and market dynamics is expected. The role requires frequent travel within the region for customer engagement and internal SAP events.
