We are looking for a passionate Teacher of French to develop, plan and deliver effective and high quality learning experiences for all students, ensuring progression is central to all lesson plans and giving our students the confidence to think big for themselves as they progress through our academy.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high‑quality French lessons, fostering a love of languages and culture.
• Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with the Modern Foreign Languages curriculum, ensuring lessons meet the needs of all learners.
• Use effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress, provide meaningful feedback, and adapt teaching to support continual improvement.
• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment, promoting high standards of behaviour, enthusiasm for learning, and confidence in speaking French.
• Maintain a secure knowledge and understanding of your subject and related pedagogy to enable you to teach effectively at the Academy

Pay range:

MPS/UPS: £32,916 - £51,048

TLR2a available based on experience and expertise

Permanent

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified teacher status or recognised equivalent
• Degree in subject specialism
• Ability to teach 'good or outstanding' lessons
• Effective classroom management
