About this Role
We are currently looking to appoint a passionateand motivated MFL specialist to join our Communications Faculty. The school israted 'good' by Ofsted following an inspection in April 2023. We continue tostrive for excellence, both academically and personally, for our children andyoung people.
French and Spanish are both thriving subjects at Fitzharrys. Bothare popular at GCSE, with numbers increasing each year. All students studyFrench in Year 7, before taking up Spanish in Year 8. Mandarin is also offeredin year 7 for all students. Students enjoy a varied curriculum with a widerange of extra-curricular opportunities to help students embed their learning.Our languages team is enthusiastic, outward-looking, and our evidence-basedapproach keeps up to date with the latest research and CPD. We have stronglinks with other MFL departments in the local area, including state andindependent schools, and with the Oxford University Department for Education.
