Team Leader with French, Claims Service

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to oversee a team of approximately 15 colleagues within an operations/shared services environment. The ideal candidate will have French language capability and experience in the insurance market, with a strong background in people management, stakeholder engagement, operational control, and continuous improvement, with a focus on stable service delivery and technology-enabled change.

This role will be based in Warsaw. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of around 15 colleagues, driving engagement, performance, and capability growth.
• Manage day-to-day operations, workload, and priorities to deliver agreed service levels and KPIs.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on team KPIs, service levels, quality measures, and business results, driving corrective actions where needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across functions and locations, ensuring clear communication and alignment on expectations.
• Support the transition of new tasks and processes into the team, ensuring effective knowledge transfer, documentation, and stabilization.
• Identify and drive efficiency, simplification, automation, and technology-enabled improvements, acting as a champion for innovation (including AI-enabled operations).

What you need to have:

• Proven people management experience, ideally leading medium-sized teams in an operations/shared services environment.
• Experience in the insurance industry and/or insurance operations, with understanding of operational controls and service delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management capability, with experience working across functions and geographies.
• Professional French language skills (spoken and written), with the ability to work confidently in English as needed.
