Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:1. Daily Accounting Operations- Record technical accounting entries related to insurance activities.
- Enter technical supplier invoices and payments.
- Process claims paid to insured clients and related documentation.
- Monitor and transfer incoming cash flows to the auxiliary insurance accounting ledger-primarily bank transactions.
2. Account Analysis & Reconciliation- Analyze suspense accounts on the balance sheet.
- Track and record recoveries collected.
- Monitor and reconcile clearing accounts related to credit insurance activities.
- Control the posting of technical flows into the general ledger.
- Provide monthly reporting to the Collections team regarding recovery flows.
3. Internal Collaboration & Continuous Improvement- Act as a liaison between Operations, Management teams, and support functions.
- Owner and continuous improvement of Standard operating procedures
- Participates in project work (e.g. lean & optimization topics).
QualificationsTechnical Skills- Strong command of General Accounting, with focus on French GAAP .
- Experience in auxiliary accounting and technical insurance processes.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and insurance operational tools, SAP preferred.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas).
- Understanding of financial flows and cash-management cycles.
Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- Experience in General Accounting, Technical accounting and/or insurance accounting.
Preferred skills- Rigorous, structured, and reliable.
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working cross-functionally.
- Autonomous, proactive, and able to prioritize effectively.
- Able to flag issues and propose improvements.
