Technical Writer - (French)

Blue Cube Services is excited to recruit remote-working Customer Success specialists to work on a project for one of the world's leading software platforms for digital assets. This is a self-employed contractor role compensated in cryptocurrency. As such, candidates are responsible for their own tax declarations.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer with expertise in localization to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Blockchain.com App and website is correctly localized for each operating country. You will review translations and rewrite them as necessary to ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance.

Responsibilities:

• Review and edit translations of user interface elements, help content, and other text within the Blockchain.com App to ensure accuracy and clarity in multiple languages.
• Review and correct website translations.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to understand the context and requirements for each localization project.
• Collaborate with the team by providing feedback and guidance on localization efforts.
• Develop and maintain style guides, glossaries, and other documentation to support the localization process.
• Develop and maintain localization documentation.

Requirements:

• Experience as a translator and superior command of the language of French language and cultural subtleties - bilingual in French
• Knowledge of cryptocurrencies and terminology is preferred
• Familiarity with localization tools and processes is a plus
