Job Description
The Test Centre (TCE) delivers high-quality testing services to our operations in Nanterre, following a well-established and proven testing strategy and methodology.
TCE's core activities include test design and test execution, supporting key business domains such as Savings and Protection. The team works across several critical applications, including ORION, HERA, Wynsure, and GLIS.
As a Test Analyst, you will contribute to the design, execution, and validation of test activities within projects, ensuring quality deliverables and alignment with project objectives.
You will report directly to the Test Centre Team Leader.

Job Description

As a Test Analyst, you will contribute to the design, execution, and validation of test activities within projects, ensuring quality deliverables and alignment with project objectives.
You will report directly to the Test Centre Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Design
- Contribute to the design of test scenarios based on business requirements
- Ensure alignment with project scope, methodology, and deliverables
- Create and maintain test cases in dedicated tools, following defined standards
- Prioritize testing activities according to project needs
- Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the testing team
Test Execution
- Execute test cases within your scope and expertise
- Accurately record test results in the appropriate tools
- Provide input for Go/No-Go decisions
- Monitor progress and proactively report risks related to timelines or quality
- Keep stakeholders informed on test progress and outcomes
Defect Management
- Identify, document, and track defects using the appropriate tools
- Support defect prioritization and resolution processes
- Participate in validation of fixes and regression testing
- Contribute to test reporting and documentation
Standards & Practices
- Adhere to ETO Service Culture values
- Apply defined testing methodologies and procedures
- Participate in workshops and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Solid understanding of software development and testing methodologies
- Knowledge of testing standards (e.g., ISTQB)
- Experience in insurance or banking systems is a plus
Essential
- Fluency in French
- Minimum 3 years of experience in testing
- Ability to build and manage test plans
- Strong risk identification and tracking capabilities
- Analytical, structured, and logical thinking
- Strong communication and summarization skills
- Team player with coordination and motivation abilities
- High level of commitment and quality focus
Nice to Have
- 5+ years of experience in testing
- Experience with Octane or similar tools
- Knowledge of SQL, APIs, SAS, Control-M (or other schedulers)
- Strong customer-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage stress and resolve conflicts
- Good planning, prioritization, and adaptability skills
- Fast learner with strong problem-solving capabilities
Additional Information
- Availability to travel internationally (outside Portugal)
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required
