The Test Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing tests to ensure product quality and functionality. They collaborate with development teams to identify defects and validate that systems meet specified requirements. This role demands precision, autonomy, and strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Execution:
• Prepare and execute tests according to established methodologies.
• Identify and document defects during test execution.

• Analysis and Reporting:
• Analyze test results to verify compliance with requirements.
• Create and present clear, detailed test reports for stakeholders.

• Collaboration:
• Work closely with development teams to ensure defects are addressed.
• Provide timely updates on testing progress and identified issues.

• Tool Proficiency:
• Utilize tools such as POSTMAN, SoapUI, SQL, JIRA, and XRAY for testing and defect management.

Requirements

• Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Experience with testing tools and defect management software.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good command of English and French languages.

Additional Requirements:

• Understanding of standard testing methodologies and practices.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle models (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in software testing.
• Proactive attitude toward learning and adapting to new environments.
• Knowledge of main principles of insurance business will be considered as an advantage.
