Dans le but de renforcer notre équipe d'excellence médicale et d'étendre nos services en Flandres et aux Pays-Bas, nous recherchons actuellement un vétérinaire bilingue Français-Néerlandais possédant un intérêt marqué pour la médecine interne des animaux de compagnie, initialement à mi-temps. Posséder un diplôme de spécialiste (ECVIM-CA ou ACVIM) ou avoir effectué une résidence dans cette même spécialité est un atout.

Antech, faisant partie de Mars Science & Diagnostics, une division de Mars Petcare, s'est positionné comme le leader en biologie Clinique en Wallonie, avec plus de 30 ans d'expérience. Depuis 2020, notre laboratoire a également élargi son champ de compétences en incluant les départements d'anatomo-histologie et d'anatomo-cytologie, créant de ce fait un centre national d'expertise focalisé sur un service global de biologie clinique et de pathologie, unique en Wallonie.

Notre équipe comprend 13 vétérinaires passionnés, incluant deux spécialistes européens.

Notre zone d'activité s'étend actuellement en Belgique, au Nord de la France et au Luxembourg, délivrant une expertise élevée en biologie clinique pour aider les praticiens dans leurs procédures diagnostiques. Notre laboratoire dispose de plus d'un réseau de vétérinaires spécialistes, tant au niveau national qu'international permettant un échange continu des actualités scientifiques.

Vos responsabilités:

• Fournir un avis médical expert et soutenir les praticiens vétérinaires dans leur démarche diagnostique et de traitement
• Validation, communication et interprétation des résultats d'analyses aux clients francophones et néerlandophones
• Lecture des frottis cytologiques (sang, urine, poils, ...). Formation fournie si nécessaire
• Soutien à la traduction/l'écriture de commentaires scientifiques ou de documents
• Participation à l'organisation d'évènements marketing (principalement en Flandres ou aux Pays-Bas)

Votre profil:

• Détenteur d'un Master en Médecine Vétérinaire
• Intérêt marqué en Médecine Interne des Animaux de Compagnie. Être spécialiste européen en Médecine Interne des Animaux de Compagnie (ECVIM-CA ou ACVIM) ou un ancien résident (éligible) est un atout
• Être inscrit au tableau de l'ordre des vétérinaires belges (Ordre des Médecins Vétérinaires - Conseil Régional Francophone or Orde der Dierenartsen - Nederlandstalige Gewestelijke Raad)
• Faire preuve d'un esprit d'équipe et d'un bon relationnel
• Être orienté clients avec une rigueur et une exigence Qualité
• Être bilingue français-néerlandais. La connaissance de l'anglais est un atout

Dutch/Flemish and French-Speaking Veterinarian with a strong interest in Companion Animal Internal Medicine

Position: Part-time (0.5 FTE) Associate for Antech Laboratory Belgium - Telephone Consultation Advice Service (Dutch and French)

To reinforce our team in Medical Excellence and expand our services in Flanders and the Netherlands, we are seeking a Dutch or Flemish-speaking Veterinarian with a strong interest in Internal Medicine for companion animals to join our team, initially on a part time basis (0.5 FTE). Being a former resident or a specialist (ECVIM-CA or ACVIM) would be an asset.

Antech, a part of Mars Science & Diagnostics within Mars Petcare, has established itself as a leader in clinical biology in the French-speaking region of Belgium, with over 30 years of experience. Since 2020, our laboratory has expanded its offerings to include histopathology and cytology departments, creating a national centre of expertise that provides comprehensive clinical biology and pathology services, unique to Wallonia.

Our team comprises 13 veterinarians, with two specialists certified by European boards.

We currently serve Belgium, the northern part of France, and Luxembourg delivering high-level expertise in clinical biology to support veterinarians in their diagnostic processes. Our laboratory is connected to a network of specialist veterinarians at both national and international levels, facilitating ongoing exchanges of scientific updates.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provision of expert medical advice and support to veterinary practitioners
• Validation, communication and interpretation of test results to Belgian (French or Flemish speaking) and Dutch customers
• Examination of smears (blood, urine, hair, ...). Training can be provided if required
• Support in translating/writing scientific comments or documents
• Participation in marketing events (mostly in Flanders or the Netherlands)

Candidate Profile:

• Possess a Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine.
• Strong interest in Internal Medicine for Companion animals. Being a specialist or past resident (board eligible) in Internal Medicine for companion animals (ECVIM-CA or ACVIM) is an asset.
• Registered with the Belgian veterinary college (Ordre des Médecins Vétérinaires - Conseil Régional Francophone or Orde der Dierenartsen - Nederlandstalige Gewestelijke Raad).
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented with a commitment to high-quality standards.
• Proficiency in French and Dutch is mandatory; knowledge of English is an asset.
