Since its inception in 1988, the restructuring group has advised on more than 1,900 restructuring transactions with aggregate debt claims in excess of $4 trillion. With nearly 300 dedicated restructuring professionals worldwide, our group has a significant global presence. ScopeAs a Vice President in our Financial Restructuring Group you will lead execution on a variety of transactions, including debtor- and creditor-side restructurings and distressed mergers and acquisitions. The group offers a unique opportunity to work on projects that provide exposure to a wide variety of financial advisory and investment banking products and industries.
These services include:
- Advising companies and stakeholders in out-of-court and Chapter 11 restructurings
- Raising debt and equity financing
- Providing distressed M&A advisory services
- Advising in special situations with elements of distressed investing
- Participating in complex negotiations on behalf of our clients
Responsibilities- You will lead the execution on a variety of transactions, including creditor- and debtor-side restructurings and distressed mergers & acquisitions
- Prepare, analyze and help explain historical and projected financial information
- Coordinate and perform business due diligence, lead and execute M&A transactions
- Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches and other presentations
- Value companies and businesses
- Assist in the marketing and planning of engagements
- Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients and professional advisors
Requirement Qualifications- Degree qualified
- Experience in Restructuring or Leveraged Finance
- Proven deal execution experience in Financial Restructuring, Leveraged Finance or M&A
- Demonstrable experience in leading discussions with senior client executives and target management
- Develop and review financial models including database systems
- Must have the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Strong work ethic, organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to grow our business and act entrepreneurially
- Motivated, creative, outgoing and possess strong skills in financial analysis
- Strong knowledge of accounting and applied financial theory
- Keen analytical abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English
- Assist in initiating and extending group marketing and client development efforts
- Develop professional network and relationships with firm, client and target professionals
- Management skills in supervising and training staff
