Cambridge International A Level French, Listening Setters

Cambridge Assessment International Education is growing and over 10 000 schools in more than 160 countries are now part of our Cambridge International learning community.

To support our continued growth worldwide, we are expanding our examiner network, and inviting teachers to develop their professional practice by becoming Cambridge Assessment Specialists.

We currently have vacancies for setters for A Level French Listening. As a setter you will be writing assessment material (usually comprising a question transcript and mark scheme). For more information on the role of a setter please visit our website.

Each candidate will need to complete tasks in support of their application. Please find this below and attach the completed tasks on a Word document prior to submitting your application:

The deadline for applications is 30 April 2025.

Requirements are that applicants will:

• have a minimum of 2 years experience of teaching French at A Level or equivalent
• be educated to degree level in a relevant subject
• have a demonstrable command of French
• be able to attend meetings for up to 3 consecutive weekdays
• have a PC/Mac, fast broadband and IT skills

Successful applicants will have:

• a keen eye for detail
• the ability to work well under pressure
• the ability to keep to deadlines
