Job Description
We are a Christ-centered Montessori school that seeks to educate children who will use their phenomenal skills, abilities, and knowledge to serve God's agenda through Jesus Christ. We are currently recruiting an Elementary French Assistant for children between the ages of six (6) to twelve (12). The teacher will be responsible for leading the students towards the fulfillment of our vision as a learner's Paradise.
The Elementary French Assistant is fully responsible for the development of the elementary child's speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French. Other duties include: conducting activities, assisting in preparing and maintaining the environment; monitoring students in the classroom, at lunch, on the playground, at events or, on school trips and performing related duties as required.
Requirements
Qualification, Experience, Skills, and Competencies
Acknowledge Jesus Christ as Saviour.
Must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Education/French from an accredited university.
Conversing with the children ONLY in French Always and IN ALL SITUATIONS.
Registered with Teacher's Registration Council of Nigeria, TRCN.
Possesses an engaging instructional manner i.e. can engage others to direct them on practical skills.
Knowledge of child growth/development and child behavior characteristics.
Knowledge of curriculum implementation.

Assessments and Reports - Assisting the lead guide with assessing student development and reports. Assessing and writing reports on the child's progress with the French language.

Intervention - participating in the intervention plan for students with additional learning needs.
