About this Role
The Role
We wish to appoint a full-time Head of French to lead and teach acrossKS3, KS4 and, where appropriate, KS5. French is taught in ability groups fromYear 7 onwards, allowing students to be appropriately supported and challengedthroughout their learning journey. The successful candidate will be anoutstanding practitioner, capable of delivering high-quality lessons across allkey stages, and committed to promoting a love of languages. They will also beexpected to contribute to the wider development of the Modern Foreign Languagescurriculum and enrichment opportunities. Students follow the AQA syllabus atboth GCSE and A Level. Modern Foreign Languages is a thriving area within theschool; the quality of teaching and curriculum provision is strong, andoutcomes are consistently high, placing the subject among the strongest in theschool.
