About the Team:The Payee Information Management team supports general business operations by providing various payment-related activities in the Administrative Services.
About the Role:The Payee Information Manager (PIM) is responsible for supporting the Education, Reference, and Continuity books organization, including French Books and Encyclopédie Médico-Chirurgicale (EMC) Publishing, during the content development process.
Responsibilities:- Create records to facilitate contributor payments for the French Global Content Partners (GCP) team and address queries promptly.
- Liaise with the French Editorial team to obtain payment information for authors and contributors and issue payments accordingly.
- Handle payments for reviewers, freelancers, SMEs, and other payment requests from the French GCP team.
- Update payee records and contact new payees for system setup.
- Adhere to agreed turnaround times for payee setup and payments, and handle purchase order requests per the SLA.
- Report payment progress to French GCP editorial staff as requested.
- Manage contributor agreements and complimentary copy fulfillment. Set up and maintain author/editor contracts in Exari.
Requirements:- Ability to build and maintain positive professional relationships.
- Proficiency in English and French, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical, planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.
- Independent, strategic, and results-driven mindset with a customer-focused approach.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in any discipline.
- 2-3 years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in accounts payable or finance. Knowledge of the publishing process is an advantage.
