ESCPH opened in August 2014 with four primary classes in English and Danish language sections. In 2018, the Fre nch section was established, and today the school boasts three full sections from Nursery to Secondary, with nearly 1,000 pupils from all over the world.
We are currently seeking a qualified teacher with a passion for working across cultures, languages, and interdisciplinary fields. Our school emphasizes collaboration with pedagogical experts and support functions from the municipality.
Available position A Permanent, part time position (80%) in Primary School Teacher Position for our French section classes at the European School Copenhagen .
Requirements - teaching qualification is mandatory
- native French speaker/mother tongue proficiency
- fluent in English, which is the working language at the school (oral and written)
- proven experience in teaching the relevant age group - age 6-11
- outstanding commitment and ability to engage students and assist in developing their social, creative, and academic skills
The ideal candidate will have - experience in international or intercultural education
- experience in teaching all the subjects of the curriculum
- strong collaboration skills with parents
- proficient ICT skills
- experience in language acquisition (French as first language or additional language)
- proactive attitude to school development

Informations complémentaires - Le niveau d'anglais doit permettre d'évoluer rapidement dans un environnement complètement anglophone : documentation, communication écrite et orale avec le management, les collègues et certaines familles.
- Le candidat doit être un Professeur des écoles certifié par l'éducation nationale (ou un organisme équivalent), dans le cas contraire il doit pouvoir justifier de plusieurs années d'enseignement dans le primaire.
- Le statut de l'école ne permet pas de faire une demande de détachement auprès des académies, il faut anticiper sur une demande de mise en disponibilité. Cependant le poste à pourvoir permet d'obtenir le statut de fonctionnaire de la commune.
- A ce titre, les salaires sont fixés par les régulations locales. Les détails sur l'empan salarial à l'embauche peuvent être clarifiés par les représentants syndicaux.
- Le candidat doit avoir une bonne compréhension du fonctionnement des écoles européennes en général.
