Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day general ledger accounting activities
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions into the general ledger
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
- Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations
- Analyze and interpret financial data to support decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Participate in the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff
- Assist with internal and external audits
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or related roles
- Fluency in French is required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements
