What you'll do:The function serves as an individual contributor, providing essential support to dedicated Eaton production plants across the EMEA region in the following key areas:
- Supplier Quality Complaint Management (8D)
- Quality-Related Financial Transactions
- Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
- Regional Process Standardization
Production Part Approval Process (PPAP):- Facilitate the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process by collaborating effectively with the quality team, Eaton sites, and suppliers.
- Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing AIAG tools to determine the appropriate PPAP level, including Control Plans (CP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Possess the ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with Automotive or Aerospace standards is highly desirable.
Regional Process Standardization:- Engage with Eaton experts to resolve various issues and enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement and uphold Eaton standards at the regional (EMEA) level.
- Identify process gaps and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide training and guidance to plant quality specialists on corporate and regional processes.
Skills:- Proficiency in both English and French is required.
- APQP/PPAP Expertise: Familiarity with key concepts such as FC, CP, Cpk, R&R, measurement tools, and calibration.
- Quality Tools: Proficient in FMEA, MSA, SPC, and relevant tooling knowledge.
- Software Skills: Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP, Oracle, and Power BI is a plus.
- Technical Experience: Background in the production of a specific commodity (e.g., machining, plastic injection, assembly).
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all organizational levels.
- Results-driven with a passion for achieving goals.

- Quick learner, adaptable to new situations.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
Qualifications:- Bachelor of Engineering (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production or technical role
- At least 3 years of experience in APQP/PPAP is required
- Background in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering is highly recommended
